In this topic, I would like to discuss the oddest combination of race, class, mannerisms, or anything else. For example, a gnome barbarian captured in a raid by orcs and raised with their customs.

Well, my character for an upcoming campaign is going to be a Half-Orc Monk of Ilmater, I doubt that's too common.

Actually I had a fighter turned paladin of Ilmater that was a half-orc on his mother side. I also knew a player that had an half-orc Bard and another one that had a half-orc druid...I also had a lizardman priest of Sune back in 2e and that was a fun game.

There are always the Lizardfolk Priests of Chauntea.

Why would this scare you? Is there an already existing character that fits this description?

Nope, his mother was raped by orcs hired by the Zhents to stir up trouble in the Western Heartlands. His mother was saved by a Triadic Knight who taught the half-orc the way of Ilmater before dying in combat himself...once again, to the hands of Zhents.

Other than that I don't think I've seen too many really odd combinations. I've definately seen some standard pairings played in "unique" ways.

There is a PC in my current game playing a Sun Elf Wizard who aspires to be a Fleshwarper. So, most of his time is spent doing experimentation on living beings.

In the game I play in we have a Wild Elf Monk/Cleric that's borderline retarded and a Gold Dwarf Illusionist with an Indian accent.
