Posted - 27 Oct 2005 : 02:13:37 Hello, Could I get some current history/events of the Tethyr/Amn region. I'm running a game w/ my wife who's character is the daughter of a Tethyran merchant, and one of the main NPC's is from Amn.
Thanks. |

What will the Power of Faerun book include? |

Posted - 27 Oct 2005 : 02:28:26 You'll likely want the Lands of Intrigue boxed set. 'Tis available as a free download at WotC. See here:- http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads
Additionally, Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate II is an intriguing resource for Amn, and if you search through Steven Schend's replies here at Candlekeep, you'll find he discusses these regions with significant regularity. The FRCS 3e contains a few details on the current events of both Tethyr and Amn, and Steven's "hypothesised" on a few strings that have been left handing in the older material which are included in the compiled replies here at Candlekeep.
Empires of the Sands is also a relevant tome, though it is a little older than the sources mentioned above.
