Posted - 10 Oct 2005 : 12:55:57 Waterdeep is probably the safest place on Faerun during the Year of Rogue Dragons, its the one place a flight of rampaging Dragons cant touch
*smirk*
Can't you just picture it? Outside Waterdeep dozens of slavering Chromatic Dragons try in vain to enter waterdeep.. Lining Waterdeeps walls stand its citizens, many with their pants down Mooning the enraged Dragons! |

Posted - 10 Oct 2005 : 03:10:39 This is the problem with "Realms Shattering Events" - they have to be applied Faerūn-wide. I'd postulate that the Dragonward being an epic spell (it is, trust me) is just as powerful as the elven High Magic/mythal that is linked to the dragon Rage (although I'm still intrigued as to how that's all going to gel together ...) and hence any dragons inside the Dragonward are immune to the Rage. At least that'll be what happens in MY Realms.
