I am reading Elves of Evermeet. They talk about Unicorn-Riders on Evermeet. Is there a PrC for that anywhere? What is the likelihood of a Unicorn-Rider leaving Evermeet to go adventuring or, perhaps, on a mission for Queen Amlaruil? I pose this question because none of the Unicorn-Riders went with Lord Seveiril's Crusade. Are they forbidden? Do the Unicorns (being intelligent) not wish to journey from Evermeet? I welcome your ideas and thoughts... |

There isn't a PrC for it anywhere that I know of, but you could extend/alter the Wild Plains Outrider from Complete Adventurer to fit it fairly well. If you haven't tried working with PrC creation before, I highly suggest looking at the section on it in the DMGII-it goes over most of the issues you should consider fairly well. |

Posted - 06 Oct 2005 : 02:16:21 There are several hundred unicorn riders in Evermeet, they serve Queen Amlaruil in the defence of the island as part of the military's elite cavalry, very rarely do they leave the island to go abroad unless there is a special mission or special emergency that warranted their presence overseas, they almost never leave the island. There are rumors that the unicorn riders are actually volunteers who went in seek of these fabled creatures, and the fabled creatures will determine who is worthy among these volunteers is worthy of riding them, of course, these volunteers had to rely on themselves to find these fabled creatures. These unicorns were believed to be founded in Cormanthor and Evermeet. Why these creatures refuse to leave Evermeet...maybe there are mages who seek unicorn parts for spell components and so it is wiser not to leave their sanctuary. |
