Are there any other novels, apart from The Hunters Blades Trilogy, where Mirabar features heavily?
As far as I know, no. |

Yes, for security reasons I know . Making maps of Mirabar is a hanging offense, but that's in-game.
That must be especially hard on tourists who can't find their way around.
True. But I'm sure there are one or two friendly old merchants or tavern owners who are more than willing to assist a recently arrived tourist find his way about town for a few gold pieces .

I think the Mirabarans are too security conscious of their secrets and trade secrets that they do not wish others to know. One obvious evidence would be in Book 1 of the Hunter Blades Trilogy

Making a map for the DM to plot adventures is perfectly acceptable . Just don't let any Mirabarrans see it .

Posted - 30 Sep 2005 : 02:36:18 As I recall, there are no maps for Mirabar.
You could take Volo's descriptive details of the town in Volo's Guide to the North and design a rough sketch from that. I do it all the time for places in the Realms that don't have maps.
