What is the defference between a cleric (or fighter/cleric for that mater) and a paladin. They both get powers of healing/death from gods, and their both awsome in battle?
Can anyone help me out, or just voice their own opinions on the subject? |

I would say the most obvious difference is the alignment. Paladins have a moral codex which they must follow. Fighter/Clerics can easily be the incarnation of evil as well as good and do not necesarilly reviece powers of healing and resurrection but the opposite.
The use of weapons is quite different as well. Palandins traditionally swords which most fighter/clerics are prohibited from using.
