What do you know about the weather conditions in Faerun?

I've been thinking if I can compare it for example to the yearly weather conditions in our world, thinking that the conditions and temperatures during a year resemble in Calimport about the same like some place in Spain and weather for example in Icewind Dale about the same like in Greenland.

Some Elminster's Ecologies are available for download from the Dungeons and Dragons website. Here's a link to the page with a bunch of 2E downloads. Scroll down to Elminster's Ecologies.

In addition, several 2e tomes that cover specific regions of the Realms -- for example, Anauroch, Great Glacier, and The Moonshaes -- give specific details on weather types and weather conditions for those regions.
