I am running a game in which the pc's find a sacked Dwarven hold. The current occupants (orcs) decorated portion of the hold with grafiti (aimed towards dwarves, ie..."hairless dog! Waterdrinkers!).
I need some ideas of what the pc's will find..
thanks...

I would imagine most orc grafitti would be drawings, crude pictograms, stick figures engaged in obscene activities, drawings of orcs beheading dwarves, dwarf heads on spikes, and dwarves engaged in humiliating activities or circumstances.

I would imagine that orc humor would be crude and immature, not very threatening or intimidating. Probably less enlightened even than what you would find scribled on the walls of modern public restrooms.

Ahh good point! thanks a million.

Here is an odd thought. If an orc were to be literate and took the time to write words on a wall, he might be an odd individual. He might feel alone, and outcast from his bretheren, consumed with ideas and thoughts that he cannot discuss with his fellow orcs.

He might be a poet orc. A philosopher orc.

In that light, it might be surprising to find orc grafitti expressing deep philosophical insights. Or longing odes to lost love. Or megalomaniacal self-aggrandizements. Or bitter, goth poetry about alienation and solitude.

It could be very interesting for the party to find that the grafitti does not say anything at all like what you might expect from an orc.
