Drats and double drats So drow males cant be clerics of Lloth. Well can someone give me some advice on roleplaying a drow female lady in waiting/bodyguard? What type of training would she have? Maybe martial arts, Swordplay, Etc. |

Err I thought male Drow Ckerics were removed from 3.x?
Oh, Lolth and perhaps Eilistraee got rid of them.
Selvetarm certainly would not impose same restriction being male himself.

If you want a drow bodyguard, the perfect prestige class to play is the drow judicator.
Here's an exerpt from Underdark:
"A mortal imbued with fiendish cruelty, the drow judicator is a knight most foul. This unholy warrior is steeped in the divine energy of Selvetarm, the Spider That Waits, self-appointed Champion of Lolth. Consort of demons and demonic arachnids, the drow judicator is hated and feared by all, especially other male drow who are jealous of the heights of power to which he has risen.
Drow judicators must make an unholy pledge to Selvetarm and then survive the rites of entry to adopt the prestige class. At least a little schooling in spellcasting is required, but only the toughest and meanest sorcerers and wizards can survive the entry requirements. Clerics often attempt to take on the drow judicator's mantle as well, as do fighters, rangers, and rogues who have taken levels in spellcasting classes.

First, if you think that animated snake heads are sexy, please don't tell me what you find outright erotic. And I mean that seriously. It's not an invitation.
As to the whips themselves, the heads are under the complete control of the priestess, who has bonded to them by blood. However, if Lolth is displeased with her priestess, it's not unheard of for the snake heads to turn on their owner. The whips, and especially how many heads are on the whip, are symbols of Lolth's favor, and she can take them away if she chooses. |

i think the whips are very effective and very sexy
were they moving according to the priestess' will or does she still have to make an attack roll? |

She'd have to have high Charisma, social skills, be handy in combat, and be ready to toss or repel a spell real quick. |

It would be nice if you replied to a topic you start instead of changing it.
That said, your new concerpt I replied to once before but the scroll disappeared. Perhaps you deleted being less familar with the forum.
Anyway a Lolthian Drow certainly can serve as a bodyguard, odds are they have at least a few Cleric levels (having been sent to school) and additional levels of Fighter and/or Ranger. Like all Drow she would seek to gain rank and recognition. This often involves killing another Drow but in such a way that the kill is justified or the kill can be blamed on somebody else. Drow in Lolthian communities can trust very very, and can never be sure of the few they trust.
There is an order, a rule guideline for conduct, however that basically is don't get caugth.
Without knowing more about the city or region there is not much more advise that I can offer.
Opps always remember Drow are the superior race and Females only need Drow males for about two reasons. The Drow males are slightly better then the other races. |

In 2nd Edition males, less then 4 percent and never achieving high level (1st capped then at level 4 IIRC) did exist. However the general consensus of part of the coversion to 3.x Lolth had lost all male Clerics. As such unless playing an older version, no male Cricis exist. Thus no point in answering your other questions. |
