Posted - 12 Dec 2004 : 23:49:11 After getting the okay from Bigsis, the WOTC Moderator for the FR boards, I uploaded what I’ve been working on.
I've been slowly going through the 1e and 2e material that I own and making a list of the named NPC's broken down by class and then by level. Each class starts at 1st and goes to whatever the highest level NPC is. NPC's that repeat are grouped together unless they advanced or decreased in level, but if they stayed the same then they are listed together.
The database only contains: Name/Level/Gender & Race/Deity/School/A short summary/and sourcebook found. The deity and school are only if they have one listed.
So far, I've done all the box sets, except for Maztica, Kara-tur, and Zakhara's many box sets. I might add Maztica's when I get done with the Faerun material and then make a separate database for Zakhara and Kara-tur. Later I plan on going through the Dragon/Dungeon's I own and adding those stat'd npc's to the database. I've also been pondering adding the old TSR trading cards to the database when I get a chance.
I WILL NOT be adding 3/3.5 stat'd NPC's for these reasons: 1) a lot of the NPC's are very long class wise. 2) They are NOT Open Gaming License.
So these will be strictly 1e and 2e stats. When I get another sourcebook/material added I'll post an update in this thread. So without further ado here's the link and yes it should be familiar.

Geocities annoyed me. :) New link. |

It's not the complete list that I started though since Alaundo never, as far as I knew, and I asked him to a few times, uploaded the .docs. |

Where are your NPCs lists stored? The link you gave indicates that they are now stored at the Candlekeep, but I can't seem to locate them.
Cheers, Afet
I too have failed in my search for these lists. |

Hail and well met. Dont want to "necro" this thread any more than my nickname would suggest but...
Estimable Kuje, I have a collection of Dragon issues (roughly back to the 1990s) and a handful of Polyhedrons. Been meaning to scan Realms-relevant articles to get a more portable personal database. When I get around to that, I could send you NPC names if you still want?
I got all the npc's from Dragon but I guess ya could send me the Polyhedron articles. However, as I said in my 3e version of this thread, I stopped working on these files and handed them all over to Alaundo. I'm still wondering though if he ever found someone who was willing to finish updating them and or turning the remaining entries into HTML. |

Fantastic, Kuje Ye deserve a long rest after this task.
Right, that's long enough, now, back to thy Realmslore research
Ahem, is anyone providing Kuje with the Bloodstone Pass information? If not, I know it's a rare tome, but I do have it myself and will happily take on the task.
Funny. :)
Yeah, if someone can send me what I'm missing, I'll add it. :)
As for the HTML thing, the sage and I are trying to figure out why Excel makes funky html code. :) |

Bloodstone Pass, which might be taken care of already from a poster. The rest are old Dungeons and Polyhedrons but I don't know the issue #'s and there's quite a lot of them. |

Endless Army and City of Gold are added and that is the end of the Maztica material that I own.
Reunion and Dungeon #68 will be added next week and both are for Zakhara and then my list is complete, except for the items I don't own.

Test and Ninja were the end of the Kara-tur material and I'll add the last 2 Maztica modules next week, which are Endless Armies and City of Gold.
There's only four more sourcebooks that I have left to add and the the last 2 sourcebooks are a Zakhara module and a Dungeon article and then I'm done. YAY!
Until Alaundo pressures me to start turning the file into HMTL/PDF for him. |
