Well met, fellow scribes.

May I draw thine attention to this scroll, being the announcement of the latest updates to arrive at Candlekeep. Firstly, thank ye to all involved in putting these together (a big thanks to Tethtoril for the numerous Hall of Heroes entries), and to those who submitted the characters and other articles of Realmslore.

I also wish to take this opportunity to thank Ed Greenwood for penning such an amazing scroll especially for us here at Candlekeep - an absolute treasure and without a doubt taking pride of place here at the library. Thank ye greatly, and to the Hooded One also.

Aye, indeed, Purple Dragon Knight. 'tis new Realmslore written by Ed especially for us here at Candlekeep This is by far the largest collection of lore on the great library of the Realms, nowhere else in any Realms tome have I read even a tenth of what Ed has written here for us.

This is truly amazing! a thousand thanks to Mr. Greenwood for such a succulent gift!

Is this "Introduction to Candlekeep" by Ed new material??

I mean, I just read it and... WOW! a big a-la-C3PO "Oh My!"

This is the stuff of legends! (particularly enamored with the "Theldrant Ornan Book inspection" done by a Candlekeep monk... made me wonder how all our PCs got into the Candlekeep Inn in the first place! in my case, Sir Amblecrown had a flying mount, which might explain him not dealing with the interviewing monks at the gate, but others here are not so lucky... )

Sir Ed of the Greenwood, I love you like a Russian! (where it is perfectly normal to hug and kiss other men, according to the movies I've watched... )

Ed created this wonderful world we love to play in so much. I think its amazing that he would take the time to write that wonderful detailed scripture just for us.

*this monk resumes pouring through the wonderful lore and softly mumbles to himself with a wide smile*

I'd like to second that, and send along my own personal "thank you" to both Ed of the Greenwood, and the ever humble and mysterious Lady Hooded One. This has truly been a worthy resource. So much so, that I have since restructured many points of my own thinking on the Realmslore. It is quite the blessing by our Lady of Luck to have access to such a fountain of amazingly diverse lore on the land we all know and love.

Thank you again, Ed, and to you as well Lady Hooded One. You've made this particular Realms Sage, very happy .
