So, if you haven't already heard the news, another Forgotten Realms TV show is in the works. Takes place after BG 3. Which I have yet to play.

I didn't care for any of those except for Rings of Power. But only the first season really. Episode 7 of season 2 was excellent, and Tom Bombadil was cool, but overall, not a very good season.
Shanarra was horrible and I gave up on GoT early in season 2. |

Interesting. I don't think I heard about the first TV show. Sounds like it's been in development for ~6 years and still has yet to see the light of day. Unfortunately, these TV shows have a way of falling into development hell, so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this to come out.
Also, the track record for TV shows based on popular fantasy IPs is very poor. Just off the top of my head, I can think of Shannara, Earthsea, Wheel of Time, and Lord of the Rings (Rings of Power), most or all of which missed the mark by a wide margin. I think the only adaptation that fans actually liked was Game of Thrones. |
