Hello!
Would anyone here happen to know which cultural influence (if any) inspired artist Blas Gallego while conceiving that statue on the cover of Finder's Bane? To me, it appears vaguely Indian/Southern Asian. |

Mudras came to mind. There's a fascinating thought: Bane's avatar conforming to the aesthetics of an Indian or Indian-themed culture. Would he be an interloper deity or part of that pantheon from the start? |

Looks a little bit like the Hindu god Iravan ? But I guess only the artist himself knows (unless Jeff Grubb and Kate Novak told him what to illustrate more than the description of the idol from the text above) |

Where is that even supposed to be at (I vaguely recall the storyline)? Sigil maybe? The pointed ears remind me of an elf, but also looks like it has teeth/fangs. It also doesn't look extremely "elvish" or "seductive" like Kanchelsis is supposed to be portrayed as. |
