This is an idea I've had brewing in my head since I got Elder Evils not too far back: Could it be possible to adapt the Elder Eternal Evils (Kezef the Chaos Hound, Dendar the Night Serpent and Ityak-Ortheel, the Elf-Eater) to the rules presented in that book.

As far as omens for their arrival, here's what I was thinking.

Kezef:
- Alien Skies
- Blood Moon
- Seal of Binding

Dendar
- Dead Sun
- Eerie Weather
- Flooding (variant of Dry Winds)

Ityak-Ortheel
- Appaling Fecundity
- Restless Dead
- Twisted Life

I would say it's a stretch, but why not? Any other ideas?

Of my ideas, I'd say the omens I picked for Kezef are probably the most realistic with Dendar being a close second. The Elf-Eater, though, I just couldn't think of what else to do.

Kezef the Chaos Hound is a bane to mortals and outsiders alike. It wants nothing more than to destroy the gods, their servants, and the beings that worship them, so why not have omens that make it hard for mortals to request aid from the gods, then? Granted, I question if the Blood Moon would work better for Kezef or the Elf-Eater.

Priests of Ubtao should get really nasty nightmares or at least forcefully vivid visions.

Maybe the fourth volcano (Morndin Vertesplendarrorn, the Emerald Crater, a place sacred to Thard Harr and the wild dwarves) should become active again.

I could also see "Infestation: snakes" occurring near the Peaks of Flame .... which another thread where we were talking about Unther recently could provide some ideas. The sudden arrival of snakes of all sizes, winged snakes, corrupt variants of couatls, nagas, yuan-ti, etc... would fit well.

Maybe.
