The Elemental graciously decided to lower its strength to Tropical Storm. It was undoubtedly aware that the Great Sage Wooley resides on the islands. But was the lessening of its fury adequate to keep GS Wooley out of major inconvenience? Let us know!

My God I can be dim witted. This took me two readings to know what in the world you meant.

Actually, I'm on the other side of the state from where it came in. We got some wind and rain from it, of course, but it's not been too bad. The power has flickered, but it never went out.

The storm passed west of us and then exited to our north. We've still got a lot of wind, and some of my coworkers lost power, but it was not a big deal for me and my family.

The concern is appreciated, though. And I'm glad I didn't have reason to dig up my old "Hamster and the Hurricane" thread!
