Posted - 13 Apr 2021 : 02:59:55 I'm looking for demonyms and the adjectival forms for the Sword Coast, the Sword Coast North, and the Western Heartlands. I see they are separated into political areas in the 3E Political Region Map. I'm guessing like in our world someone or thing could have "layers", for example American and Californian.
I know within these regions there are names for say someone from Baldur's Gate, Baldurian. I vaguely remember there is a least one case in the Realms that the people and things from a region have different names.
At the end of the day I'm looking for catch all terms that NPCs might use to refer to a larger swath of people or goods from those regions. |

I was about to go looking for that one, myself, in response to this discussion. |

Posted - 14 Apr 2021 : 08:00:49 The North and The Savage Lands seemed to get conflated a lot in 2E. I still don't understand whether they're overlapping parts of each other or not, lol. |
