Specifically my question involves vampires and liches. Were these abominations affected by the disruption of magic or did they save VS plot shenanigans and soldier on as if nothing happened? |

If a wand of magic missile is still usable after the Spellplague, then one would assume an animated undead being infused with magic would also be walking around. |

Yeah at some point as a user of the weave on Toril, you probably have had enough of the disruptions. I’d high tail it out of there to a planet that doesn’t have a novel line.
Nevron, one of the Thayan Zulkirs, ponders over that exact thing during the war against Szass Tam and after the spellplague happened. But he realizes that he first has to rebuild a huge power base and continue his magic studies to enter the planes as Lord and carve out his "empire".

Though I suppose a lot of Prime-dwelling liches could have thrown up their hands and set up shop in the planes or other crystal spheres so they wouldn't have to deal with the next time Mystra dies and comes back to life. |
