Posted - 17 Jun 2018 : 02:51:40 I've started re-reading The Sword's Of Eveningstar.
I'm curious if stats for Horaundoon or any of the magics he uses over and over have ever been published or given here.
According to the text, he is an "archmage" and responsible for the deaths of many wizards (Elves, Zhents, etc.).
His spell that detects / locates / links with a mantle (Thael'Kirra) to consume the spells of its wearer would be interesting.
Also of note are his "mind worms" which are planted into a being and then give the creator control of them while slowly devouring the victim's brain. |

And long overdue. There was how it, Overmantle of Halgondas. But such things should be less rare. Because the obvious generalization of Evil Overlord List entry #50 is "I shall not use off-the-shelf security systems."

Wasn't some of that in Elminster in Hell too? |
