Posted - 28 Mar 2018 : 23:00:48 I haven't read/heard much of these people since the Era of Upheaval. I know in 4th Edition, Uthgar was technically an exarch of Tempus. I don't know squat about what happened from the Sundering onwards, and the wiki at least doesn't have any info on the Battle Father or his worshippers at that point. Any insight? |

The SCAG has three pages devoted to them and it's pretty interesting. They're doing fine and well in 1490's DR.
Yes, per SCAG, most of the tribes are still around and thriving. If I recall, maybe one or two tribes are still missing? Unaccounted for? I have to read back on SCAG…..
Edit: Ah I see….. turned into morlocks? Oh boy. |

-Not the same thing, but the 3e/4e concept of Warlocks would work well with them, with their shaman empowering themselves with pacts from each Totem. |

The SCAG lists: Blue Bear, Black Lion, Red Tiger, Black Raven, Sky Pony, Tree Ghost, Great Worm, and Elk.
Okay, so no changes to which tribes exist. Good to know. |

So, are there new tribes and/or have any of the previous ones from the Era of Upheaval gone extinct? I don't have much (if any) cash or (especially) space in my bookcases for many more books.

Yes, I know the Golden Eagle and Red Pony tribes became the first Grimlocks. I was wondering about new or extinct tribes post-Spellplague. |

Posted - 06 Apr 2018 : 05:01:56 The real secret is that when the tourists and adventurers are asleep or have left, the Uthgardt don waistcoats and top hats, then discuss the day's events while sipping from a teacup.
Flavored with copious amounts of mead, of course, not like those Waterdhavian barbarians with their milk teas, or those Maztican savages with their "coffee". |
