As it is written: "When you are wielding a finesse weapon with which you are proficient and another creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus to your AC for that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss you".
The ability itself is fine, though when compared to the other feats which grant several benefits it seems slightly weak. It doesn't even grant a +1 to an ability score (Dex would be appropriate) and being able to maybe block one attack doesn't seem worth the choice of a feat.
I would personally choose to add either the ability score buff or a secondary ability such as: Whenever an opponent misses you with a melee attack and had disadvantage on the roll, you may use a reaction to make a single melee weapon attack against that creature if both of its rolls missed your AC. A riposte of sorts.
