Hi guys are there any fiends out there you feel are under utilized? I'm placing a vote for Fraz-Urb'luu. He's one of the craftiest fiends out there and was very prominent in Grewhawk. He rarely gets a mention in the realms. This was a nice write up for him, very intriguing IMO

I do like Yeenoghu. When 3.5 used Greyhawks gods I felt that Erythinul had a lot in common with Yeenoghu and they could possibly be used as two aspects of the same entity.
When I read some of the back-story of Tieflings and thier Empire of Bael-Turath, it made me wonder if they weren't drawing on Baelzebul for that name. I could see Tieflings being the decendants of a human empire nameed Turath, who's emperor and nobility formed pacts with Baelzebul, thus Bael-Turath.
Graz'zt saw some noteriety in 3.5 books, but he does have lore connections to the Realms as he held Waukeen imprisoned after the Time of Troubles. |

Technically it's his D&D multiverse canon, it just happened to occur on the prime world of Oerth
I don't think he has much activity on Toril, I think I once read something a half-fiend son of his did, but I am not sure.
In D&D his most famous for the whole brass relief thingy, as this happened in one of Gary's original games (from which many D&D tropes sprang)

From 1e to 2e it was one joined multiverse.
3e tried to change it into different universes, but it was only done halfheartedly and ignored by many.
4e tried to did away with all shared D&D history and legacy and re-invent anything from scratch. That didn't went very well.
In 5e the designers confirmed the return to the multiverse of old.

However I hate his new 5e lore. Another plot hook erased needlessly by actually making him the creator of gnolls instead of their ursuper. I always thought Gorellik was king of interesting, I even once stated him up for the Savage Tide adventure path (as the designers remembers to include him as a reference but without stats) |

Yeenoghu had an incredible writeup in one of the Dragon magazine editions. I would love to read about him rampaging through the Underdark. He's not really one for grand schemes though; he just breaks stuff. But his savagery, even for a demon, impressed me. And his nickname, "The Beast of Butchery", always stuck with me. |

That write up contains a huge lot if non-canon homebrew (the whole exiled baatezu stuff is made up and not his D&D history) while missing most iconic canon history

If there are to be pictures:

If just for the story/lore maybe Baphomet or Pazuzu.
About the others:
- Demogorgon got already beaten and so it's an uninteresting failure;
- Grazzy was used more on other settings but had something going on in Elversult (or somewhere else in the western heartlands) connected to his failed coup at Waukeen's expense;
- Frazzy was caught up with Narfell and probably had a claw in the captivity of Eltab;
- Orcus is Orcus (moar undead?);
- Dagon had tentacles in the Sea of Fallen Stars if i remember correctly (but i dislike tentacles);
- Yeenoghu and Kostchtchie are a bit to specialized for my tastes; |
