I've had a brain-wave, and we could use MSN or AOL messenger to host a game of D&D. I've noticed that many people say that there is not a group because they don't know a group in their area. Well with this idea, we could all meet online at a prearranged date and time, and using MSN play again of D&D. With Mundabs Permision we could use his Truely excellent dice rolling program. There are also several PDF Chaarcter sheets ont he web, that allow you to input information in the boxes.
Well Anyone who wants to join is more than welcome, I propose a Sunday Afternoon/night for playing. I also propose that we don't make the sessions too long and have a mixture of combat and Rping to match the different interests of players here at Candlekeep. I'm more than willing to DM it, unless someone really wants to. Let me knows what you think please. Its open to everyone.

Wow...

This is turning out even harder to organize than I thought. I have the entire week off, next week, and I can play whenever you guys are ready.
DDH_101 Posted - 17 Apr 2004 : 19:23:33
Lol. Can we do Saturday next week? I have French tutoring...
Elrond Half Elven Posted - 17 Apr 2004 : 15:14:17

Yes, well, as a drow, it's my job to be observant. I wouldn't survive long if I didn't. By the way, Happy 16th!

You're a bit inconsistent... In Arivia's campaign thread, you said 16... Just noticing...

Yeah sorry about that my birthday is actually next tuesday, the 20th.
Very observant. I really want to get into a game with some experianced players so i can see how the vetrans do it...

Err, right! Graxx is at the Inn, and I'm back! Though I'm not sure if trading a noble shield dwarf for a cold, calculating, and manipulative drow is the best idea, Alaundo.

Well met

Then get back to the Inn, Graxx Shadowstone, all hells could be breaking loose in there ...and send Shadowlord back in here once he's finished his ale

It truly doesn't matter to me. Take all the time you need...
DDH_101 Posted - 16 Apr 2004 : 22:01:43
Actually, I rather we reschedule instead so everyone can get ready, especially since we have a new person joining our party.
ScurvyDog Posted - 16 Apr 2004 : 21:48:36
Hi, I'm new here, I spoke to Elrond about joining this adventure and he accepted me. My character is a Half-Orc monk raised by humans and in shame of his Orcish side.

I can play at 7:30 PM GMT on Sunday, I guess it's a reasonable time for all the people involved... for me it would be like 2 o'clock in the afternoon, perfect for playing. So please let's agree and start the adventure!
Icewolf Posted - 14 Apr 2004 : 22:40:12
Well, I for one am open all day sunday (I wrangled Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off, so let me know what's going on, and I'll be there, even if I have to kill somebody. Not that, ahem, I would actually, errm...kill anybody *cough*important*cough*.

Yeah...just let me know when to be on Messenger.
Elrond Half Elven Posted - 14 Apr 2004 : 17:49:53
Unfortuntely 7.30 AM GMT raises ALOT of problems for me, chances are I'll be out on Saturday night, In fact this saturday I'm going to a friends, chances are I wont be back home until between 1-3 pm. Even then I'll need to get a couple hours sleep, to clean the Alcohol from my system.
The choices are yours... We could schedule another time, or I could hand over the material I have to another DM who could run it for you.
Sorry
Elrond
Icewolf Posted - 14 Apr 2004 : 03:27:56
Well, I guess I could do the 7:30 AM GMT, though I'd have to be awake at 2:30 in the morning. Just let me know either way, and I'll make the proper preperations. (Lotsa caffeine & sugar on hand, yay!!!!)
Shadowlord Posted - 14 Apr 2004 : 02:15:37
Yes, I suppose that time is all right. No guarantee's though. I'm usually not home until 8:00 GMT...
DDH_101 Posted - 14 Apr 2004 : 01:53:17
I rather do this around lunchtime, since I believe 7:30AM GMT would also be a good time for everyone else.
Shadowlord Posted - 14 Apr 2004 : 00:50:25
Actually, depending on whether it is PM or AM, it would either be lunchtime or midnight for you... At least you have some options...

Actually, unless Elrond meant 7:30 AM, it would be around noon for PST peoples

If he DID mean 7:30 AM, then it would mean 2 in the morning for me...

I would prefer 8:30 GMT. 7:30 GMT raises some timezone conflict. Is that alright?

Indeed, Elrond. I await your email.
Elrond Half Elven Posted - 13 Apr 2004 : 23:57:12
Ok time wise is 7.30 Greenich Median time ok for everyone (GMT)?

Shadowlord we will converse over email about you character.

Shadowlord, perhaps you were one of the drows that escaped to the surface from another rival. You know, that sorta thing...
Icewolf Posted - 13 Apr 2004 : 19:53:24
Or perhaps a fellow student can have an 'accident' and you find yourself mysteriously on the surface? Magic is often unpredictable, no?
Shadowlord Posted - 13 Apr 2004 : 19:15:18
Right then. I await the day we begin. I also wonder how the party is going to find me, as I’m a student of Sorcere in Menzoberranzan. Mayhaps my character should start as an NPC, then become a PC, as the plot progresses? Just a thought…
Icewolf Posted - 13 Apr 2004 : 16:51:44
I'll be logging the procedings. I'll also post them on my forums:[shamelessplug] The Icewolf's Den

Its not much, but feel free to join
MuadDib Posted - 13 Apr 2004 : 11:41:54
i will be unable to watch it then as i will on vacation in my home country.

Perhaps someone would be good enough to log the proceedings for me?

pweeeese!
Icewolf Posted - 12 Apr 2004 : 23:14:02
I'll be there, I just need to know when to show up. Wouldn't wanna be on to late and miss some of the fun. I live in Indiana, and I'm not at all sure what time zone we're currently in. (Central, I think)

Note to Self: 5:13 PM here now
