Posted - 06 Mar 2004 : 06:24:30 A player of mine recently discovered this alternate Shadowmage PrC from the Waking Lands website. I've looked over it briefly, and I do think it has some potential for use in an FR campaign, but I've come to the conclusion that such a class might be better suited to the Ravenloft setting. Anyway, I've given you the link, so take a look for yourself.
Before I allow it, or not, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the class itself.

Posted - 08 May 2004 : 14:38:31 I also suggest that you take a look at some of the other PrCs on the site. Most appear to be well-thought out, although how they will function within a gaming environment is another matter entirely...

Very scary but it does look fairly balanced and interesting if your into that kind of thing.
Hmm this is making me think about creating a Lightmage PrC something completely opposite to rival shades and shadowmages... *a little hamster begins to run furiously at his wheel* |

Posted - 06 Mar 2004 : 08:13:42 Hmmm...that's a little strange. The actual link I originally provided brought up a new window with the 'Shadowmage' PrC on screen. From my end, the site doesn't appear to be having any trouble, the other PrCs can be accessed with no problem. Although, they have altered the site address I provided earlier...

Posted - 06 Mar 2004 : 07:11:35 Well, the link you made didn't go to the page for the PrC; it went to an overview. The rules on multiclassing that this person's suggesting look like some thought's been put into them. I'm for them, basically; I hadn't actually thought of that rampant multi-classing problem myself, but I can see how it would be a problem.
As to the rest . . . it looks like the site went down while I was there. I started looking at them in order, but didn't get any farther than the varient blackguard. |
