What are your thoughts on this PrC?(it can be seen on the wizards site) Is it a useful tool for the multiclassed mage-cleric, or a powergamer's delight? I was also wondering about something; a mystic theruge doesn't gain bonus feats or increased turning power, but do the DC's to resist their spells change, and the effects(range, duration, ect) increase as if they had gained a level in their previous classes? If not, they would be made extremely weak in battle, despite their plethora of spells.

It's more balanced than it might appear. The character gains no advancement for either class besides where it concerns spells. No familiar enhancement, no bonus feats, no undead-turning bonuses, unless the character gains another level in the appropriate core class.

What is gained is that the PrC's levels stack with both arcane and divine classes for determining spells. That includes caster level. So, a Clr3/Wiz3/MyT3 would be treated as having the spells and caster level of both a sixth-level wizard and a sixth-level cleric.

Since this is the only thing gained, I'd say it's rather balanced. Remember other PrCs that give such bonus levels to a single spellcasting class always have extra bonuses to them. It's also not something I'd imagine most players choosing.
