Posted - 13 Aug 2014 : 11:59:18 Anyone know where I can find a list of the various dialects of Common for the Realms? All I have so far:
Calant spoken on the Sword Coast Kouroo spoken in Chult Skaevrym spoken in Sossal
I also know it grew from Thorass (now largely a dead language) which itself grew from Jotun (giant). Are there no other named dialects? |

Whereas Russian-sounding accents typically announce an individual has an evil and warlike agenda. Just a popular Hollywood trope, but it seems quite inescapable. |

This scroll has the Dragon Magazine specifics. It's a great, comprehensive article by Tom Costa and worth tracking down. In fact, I could see many people getting confused with the sheer numbers and combinatorial complexity of all the described languages and dialects listed. |
