Turnic
Male: Anton, Diero, Marcon, Pieron, Rimardo, Romero, Salazar, Umbero.
Female: Balama, Dona, Faila, Jalana, Luisa, Marta, Quara, Selise, Vonda.
Surnames: Agosto, Astorio, Calabra, Domine, Falone, Marivaldi, Pisacar, Ramondo.

Kind of praying I'm not missing something or asking a stupid question here! I found this in a list of common names of FR human ethnicities. I can't find any other references. Who are these "Turnic" people and where do they come from?

It appears that wherever you saw the list had a transcription error. Not unusual to see an M and N switched by mistake.

Could it be "Turmish"?
Anton Marivaldi is the pirate protagonist of The Reaver Sundering Book IV.

EDIT: doh! ninja-ed for 28 seconds, well played sir, well played

That list is from the 3e Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. It should be 'Turmic' meaning, a name from the language of Turmish.

I'm afraid to say that Turnic isn't a Realms human ethnicity that I've heard of officially.

Are you sure this listing is from a canon/published source and not something concocted for a homebrew Realms campaign?
