Looking for character builds that, while legal, would be considered by most to be exploits in DnD (of any addition, but primarily 3.x). Links such as the one below are much welcome and please include all available (3rd party) sources.

This request was prompted by a thread from a few days ago. Please refrain from debating the merits of such builds (I don't want the thread to get bogged down into an argument about what should/shouldn't be allowed). My main reason is to discover what potential abuses exist within the rules but feel free to include reasonable house rule info as well.

I am mainly looking for spellcaster builds as they are the most likely source of exploits ingame (I don't know of any builds outside those that are truly game breaking) but don't stop with those. I am a power gamer but my mind simply doesn't work to the level of true exploits so I really do not know of any of these insane builds.

I'll get it started. From that earlier thread, here is The Mailman:

Just realized this probably belongs in the Running the Realms section.

well, mind you 80-90% of what I read through in the mystic theurge handbook, I read and said "that's not what the rule was written as".

Thanks for the links so far. I had no idea just how broken the game could be. And I am greatly surprised by the warrior build Dalor.

Here is a melee build...mind you read fully through and see that you can throw down about 5,000 HP worth of damage PER TURN with the final build...with a weapon.

is a link to the mystic theurge handbook. However, it has links to other handbooks and it has a section even for dirty tricks. Some of this I found viable and usable. Other pieces were definitely people just trying to rules lawyer cheats in.

Well, we could always just make a dozen different combos with Wizards.
An empowered maximized twinned repeated scorching ray that does stupid high damage, no save, etc

But look up Pun Pun the Mighty Kobold for the most exploited, ridiculous character builds ever in 3.5e.

Most of the dumb combo's I know came from 2e or 3.5.

The funniest old one I heard not long ago that made me laugh was the mindrape + Love's pain combo.

Kidnap a commoner and screw with it's mind so that it loves the target. Then cast Love's pain a few times. No SR or Saves for Love's pain

Since this forum is dedicated to the lore of a specific setting, and not to the rules, you'll likely find far more input on the WotC forums. While we do have some rules gurus here, the WotC forums are a better place to seek optimal character builds -- I believe there is even a section of their forums dedicated to such discussions.
