 Kappa Shell 3.0 to 3.5?

So oriental adventures has a kappa shell ( which we shall assume is kara-tur :P ) . It uses the rules from 3.0 which are more generous then 3.5 to grant +10 AC, +4 reflex save, improved evasion.

In 3.5 most of those benefits go down, as the kappa gives 9/10th cover in 3.0 but not total cover.

If we gave it the 3.5 cover, it gets shrunk to +4 ac +2 reflex, and that is it, which is a massive difference.

Any opinions?

Depends...

I would go with whatever edition you are using. For Pathfinder, use the better (3.0) stats, because PF PCs are 'beefier' (although that does look a bit too potent, which is probably why they tweaked it).
