Posted - 30 Oct 2012 : 18:43:28 I was doing some research on a story I'm writing and it led me to the wiki on blueflame ghosts here
http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Blueflame_ghost
This wiki states:
"Larloch created the Blueflame items with the help of the Imprisoners by binding the spirits of three liches to the items. Each of the items possesses its own power when the ghost is imprisoned but the power is dormant when the ghost is outside the item."
and this wiki link for the imprisoners states something similar
"The Imprisoners were a group of powerful mages working before the Spellplague for Larloch who imprisoned spirits in magic items. The ultimate goal was apparently to preserve some of Larloch's power so he could access it later. The items created were known as Blueflame items and had powerful magic contained within."
Does anyone remember roughly where at in the novels it talked about the origins and Larloch? I'd like to reread through the sections. |

Posted - 30 Oct 2012 : 22:19:11 nm, found it right at the end of Bury Elminster Deep. It didn't say much more than what's above. I was hoping there was more of a reveal. |
