Posted - 08 Apr 2005 : 05:09:52 An FYI to all scribes out there regarding SVGames. I found the following posted on their site today:
quote:
***Downloadable Purchasers*** SVGames will be discontinuing it's Downloadable PDF Services for All TSR/D&D on April 10th, 2005. All prior purchases will no longer be available after that date, nor will any future purchases. Thank you for letting us offer this service to you.
The SVGames Team
No idea if anyone purchased PDFs from them. But, I wanted to give a warning that this vendor will no longer be offering such products. |

Posted - 14 Jan 2004 : 13:38:13 I've used SV games before as well. The downloads I receive are always in PDF format. I'm assuming that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in your system. I'd contact customer service and see if they can help. |

Posted - 14 Jan 2004 : 12:38:39 A quick search on
http://filext.com/
indicates that the file is one of the following:
1. ACL For Windows Data (data mining software) 2. Application Generator File Template (???) 3. Cardbox Database 4. dBASE Files List Object 5. File List 6. ProWORX Nxt Format Export (???) 7. WordPerfect Overlay
I can't imagine it being 3, 4 or 7
I don't recognise 2 or 6.
Item 1 is Spyware, perhaps (surprisingly) being used by the shop.
None of these are what I would expect to download (I have used SV Games before). Everything I've had from them before has been downloaded as a .pdf (Acrobat) file.
I have found that SV Games has an excellent customer services - drop them an e-mail and ask them to sort the problem for you.
