Posted - 04 Jan 2004 : 15:12:50 My newest character is a drow/shade assassin from Chaulssin (born far before the City of Wyrmshadows fell)in the Underdark. However, he needs a name. I want a name that sounds kinda mysterious, because he's a shade, but also kinda drow, that being his race and all. So lemme know if you have any ideas. |

Solaufein is taken from Baldur's Gate 2, Ust Natha, Chapter 5, I've already contemplated using it. Thanx anyway however. MaudDib, Is that available in the halls of Candlekeep, perchance?
Bleh BG2 ruined that name, I used it before BG2 came around. I saw it in "Drow of the Underdark", so no, it's not taken from BG2 |

Posted - 07 Jan 2004 : 16:20:48 I`m wondering if you are after a typical drow name, whitch have nothing to do with the real world? if you know what I mean.
I mostly combine; like Naroon Shimmerflow, Ileena Silverleaf, High General Irrezen, something like that.
ANyway I have these "English" names: Turnshadow, Silence, Combanigash(not very english), Zander.... something like that.
Good luck in youre search Shadowlord.
Another ale for you |

Posted - 04 Jan 2004 : 21:49:51 That charackter sounds somwhat pretty like a certain person I now. If he have keept his old drow name I would suggest somtihg with an ' in the name, somthing like Z'en Z'ar maybe, but you would well like a name that is a little more darker? And I see that you have change your signature so that your quote from Demogorgon has more facts in it than mine. Hmmpff.. How rude . |
Shadowlord |
Posted - 04 Jan 2004 : 21:23:02 I can and will, Ezindir. He is (and always was) an assassin, trained by the best the city of Chaulssin had to offer. He eventually left his house, and renounced Lolth in favor of Vhaeraun, (drow god of theivery, for those who dont know) becoming a solitary assassin for the highest bidder. When Chaulssin fell, and was overrun with shadow dragons, he was imbued with the essence of shadow, giving him the abilities of a shade, as well as improving his already formiddable skills. This mixed his innate long life with the agelessness of a shade, allowing him to live far beyond the drow norm. This is apparent, since Chaulssin fell long ago, and my assassin is still alive. He later joined the Jaezred Chaulssin (Those who read War of the Spider Queen Series know what I'm talking about), trying to liberate the Underdark from the tyranny of Lolth. Aside from this, not much more is known about him, save that he is one of the strongest the Jaezred Chaulssin has to offer. |
