Posted - 06 Nov 2013 : 02:36:04 The 2010 allotment will be sent to Alaundo next month. It's been a particularly troublesome compilation, because I still seem to keep finding little tidbits from either Ed or THO posted in scrolls here and Candlekeep, and on Wizards, that I might have initially otherwise overlooked.
But I'm confident enough to say that this will be the final sort through for me. So 2010 is most definitely finished, now. Plus, I've been hurriedly compiling 2013 as well, so they'll both go live at the same time, hopefully, and then I'll concentrate on finishing up my compilation files for 2011 and 2012. |

I thought I'd paste the Web Archive link here, if anyone is looking for it - as I was.
As most of you know, do NOT click on the links, but copy the whole string, paste it in your browser and go. It takes directly to the Sages page.

I also wonder if anyone would be brave, determined or stubborn enough to work on such a project?
That would be quite an undertaking.
I once postulated on the possibility of crafting a Wiki exclusively for Ed-lore -- basically, the Wiki would contain place/reference holders which directed interested users to the relevant Ed-replies back here at Candlekeep. But I'd need a lot of time to work on putting something like that together.
You'd need to broaden that scope, somewhat, I should think. There is a lot of Edlore scattered around that's not on our site -- stuff from the old Realms-L list, the content from the now-defunct Yet Another Forgotten Realms page, stuff emailed to individuals (I know I've got a couple bits not shared out yet), and some stuff scattered across other pages...
That's largely where my original thinking on this took me... I was basically listing all the places I've ever taken Ed-lore from on the web and including them as possible reference sources for my Wiki.
Needless to say, it's part of why I set this project aside. That's a significant amount of compilation, and even my prodigious archives of online Realmslore are nowhere near ready for something like that. |

Starting on the 2012 lot of replies from various sources. I'm hoping to have them finished by the end of this week, whereupon I can catch up on my compilation of the 2013 replies from Ed.
End of this week means 3 months from now in Sagetime!
Wow, you're quite the optimist!
The Sage once promised to read something for me "this weekend". That was two years ago!
I remember that, although I don't recall what it was I was suppose to read.
Do you still want me to take a look?
Heh, I don't even remember what it was, at this point! |

Posted - 08 Mar 2013 : 01:04:36 Not a problem.
I know I've been kind of falling behind with this, and I appreciate that I can only ask folks to be patient for so long. But do know that I am slowly working on these compilations. They're probably one of the few tasks on my "To-Do" list that aren't in danger of being regularly forgotten like almost everything else referenced on it. |
