I was wondering if this has been posted anywhere, but do most cities have a sewer system in them? I know Waterdeep does and Zhentil Keep, but what about other cities?
What would the size of a town have to be before this is built? |

Character 1: "Look he's a king!"
Character 2: "How can you tell?"
Character 1: "Because he doesn't have sh%$ all over him!"

He also stated that less-affluent city-districts in major locales without sewer systems often make use of ""honey wagons" (in that part of the Realms [Cormyr], they're known as "nightsoil carts") that take the chamberpot-emptyings of the less wealthy neighbourhoods out of the city to middens."
I would imagine that in towns or villages without sewer systems, similar "honey wagons" are used instead -- transporting the collected "business" of each town's inhabitants to surrounding middens [perhaps located far enough away to avoid contamination, disease, smell, or either dumped above ground and/or buried underneath].
