Posted - 10 Sep 2011 : 00:33:46 In one of Cordell's Abolethic Sovereignty books, one of the main characters (a warlock) creates and animates an unusual type of golem.
For those more familiar with the 4E Rules than I am, are there rituals somewhere that cover golem-creation? If so, I can't find any, at least not in the rulebooks I have so far.
Seems like you'd just need a single ritual, with variants for power level that increase as the power of your golem increases. For instance, a simple mud or clay golem in the first tier, with level-appropriate abilities, but then higher level requirements for creating things like iron golems or adamantite ones, or even things like helmed horrors.
I remember from the most recent Elminster novel that a wizard in Cormyr has re-learned how to make helmed horrors. So it can be done, right?
