I know that the spell is available to Assassins (via Prestige Class), and Assassins cast arcane spells. So then could a Wizard learn the spell?
And then along those same lines, I guess I was wondering if a Wizard could learn Cure Light Wounds too (since it is available as an arcane spell for Bards)?
Thanks in advance!

They need to spend time & money creating this “new” spell. As for casting cure light wounds just say no. It’s a balance issue. If they really want to cast it then have them multiclass into it.

Posted - 16 Jun 2011 : 17:53:10 I would think that it would be okay if you increased the spell level by a minimum of 1 (probably 2) for wizards. Take Limited Wish for example. It allows you to cast cleric spells with spell levels less than or equal to the spell's level minus 2 (i.e. Limited Wish is a level 7 spell and you can use it duplicate any 5th level cleric spell that is not from a prohibited school).
