Does the feat Practiced Spellcaster increase the character's Caster Level for crafting magic items?
Ex: Rog2/Wiz5 with the Practiced Spellcaster Feat; could they craft Bracers of Armor +1 [CL 7th required] (assuming they have the materials and know the spell)?
I know the feat entry I read said that it doesn't increase a character's spells known, spells per day, etc. but it doesn't say anything about your caster level for crafting purposes.

No, it doesn't get you into prereqs, except for particular situations.
All it increases is caster level. Not spellcaster level, which is slightly different.
e.g. a Wizard 5 / Rogue 4 with Practised Spellcaster would have CL 9, but would only have the spellcasting level of a Wizard 5. He wouldn't have access to 4th or 5th level spells, because the feat only boosts your caster level.
If a prereq has "9th level casting" or "5th level arcane caster" or the like, then you would need the spellcasting level to get it. Or you could use Versatile Spellcaster + Heighten Spell. The former allows you to mash spell slots together to get higher level spell slots (e.g. turn two 2nd level slots into a 3rd level slot, even if you're not at a level where you could cast 3rd level spells), and the latter boosts your spells to the effective level needed to fulfil the requirements. This is one of the central tactics to early entry for prestige classes (Warmage or Beguiler 1 / Rainbow Servant 10 is a popular use of the technique). |

That's pretty much what it's intended for, allowing you to stack four levels of (an)other class(es) for the purposes of caster level and anything dependent on it. The important distinction though, is that your spells per day/spells known don't increase, and are still based on your class levels.
e.g. that Rog2/Wiz5 has the caster level, spell damage/duration of a 7th-level wizard, but uses the spells per day of a 5th level wizard (i.e. 3rd-level spells, not 4th). |

Yes, Practiced Spellcaster does that. It's considered a great feat if you happen to be multiclassing, and are going for something like Ultimate Magus. |

I think I would vote that yes, it does increase your caster level for crafting magical items, since you would be able to cast the required spell(s) at the higher caster level for that class. |
