So, I'm working on the backstory for an illithid npc for an rp I'm in, and I can't seem to recall how long illithid's live for. Any of the scribes on here have this knowledge and care to share? |

Well, I didn't think it was centuries; I didn't know one way or the other. Just that centuries would have better suited my purposes. |

No, it's never been much more than a bit over a hundred. I think The Illithiad had it at about 120 years, but I'm afb right now and can't check.
The only illithids that live for centuries are alhoon, who techinically aren't illithids any longer. |

Thanks. My copy of Lords of Madness is on a harddrive some three hundred miles from here, so what I had figured was the best source was beyond my reach.
That is a somewhat disappointing answer, though. Was hoping for something in the count of centuries. |
