I'm running a game on the Swordcoast and one of my players (10th level) wants to buy a house in Baldur's Gate. Anyone know a price range for the Gate and the surrounding land?

I should have included that. I do not play 4e, so this question is regarding dr 1376.

Something far more than a hovel but I'm really looking for more than 1 price, a range, so I could have more info to decide how much I'd want to price these homes for.

thanks for all the responces guys, I do appreciate it.

Does that mean my little cottage near Candlekeep will have good market value?

Ah. Thanx. I thought they were two separate links (and I thought they needed to be entered into the address field at wayback). Yes, it works fine. Can you edit them into a single [url] block?

Unfortunately not. The fact that there exists two hypertext protocols within the one standard URL block still results in the two addresses being seen, rather than shortening the link [like what you'd see when only placing one HTTP address within an URL block].

Sorry, Sage, your wayback links appear to be dead.

It came up for me just fine.

Indeed.

As I said, you have to copy and paste the entire link, without any space in-between. It should work fine then, unless individual browsers settings are in place which deny access to the old site the material was stored on.

Well, you may find these tidbits from Steven Schend to be of some use:- http://web.archive.org/web/20060227223029/http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Castle/2566/ss-buildings.htm

[Note, that's an URL from the web's Wayback Machine, so you'll need to copy and paste the link into your brower's address bar.]
