I've been visiting this forum for off and on for many many many solar cycles now and I just noticed something.
On other forums there is often just a thread for "Random chatter" i.e. a place where people can talk about anything or any topic and it's not against the rules or out of context.
Is there one that that here or are we literally not allowed to converse with other members on this forum about anything unless it's FR related in some way?
Not saying it's bad, I'm just curious. Because I like a lot of you people, and have occasionally wanted to just be like hey, sup, I got some unrelated things to say, etc etc.
Feel free to delete this after it's been duely noticed and replied too.
I apologize for this not having anything to do with FR.
How about that Elminster? AMIRIGHT?

Indeed. I believe I've used that thread to announce my engagement, the upcoming birth of my son, dodging hurricanes, and the loss of all my stuff in a fire.
Obviously, I prefer the happier occasions on that list!  |

In my opinion http://forum.candlekeep.com/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=25 is the section you are seeking. Here has been birth announcements, marriage and so on.
Of course one of the mods might better direct you to a better section. |
