What are the typical height and weight of the eladrin and elven women in 4th edition? |

Eh, still fairly small. Could be the same thinking as when they increased the halfling/gnome sizes back in the day. |

Seems like the elven race has bulked up for 4th ed. What's the point of that? |

Well, assuming the stats are for adventurers who are assumed to be in pretty good physical condition, its likely most of that weight is going to be muscle mass, which being heavier than body fat would allow them to be slimmer while still weighing more. |

The 4ed stuff is pretty vague. 3ed (if it's any help) says; 4'5" - 6'0" (133-183) and 70-90lb(30-40) for female elves.

So, here are the stats from the Forgotten Realms wiki:
For elves - height 5'4-6'0 (163-183) and weight 130-170 (59-77)
For eladrin - 5'5-6'1 (165-185) 130-180 (59-82)
In fact they don't seem as bony as typical fantasy elves. That's strange.
I'm 5'6 (168) and my weight is 130 (59) and I'm a plump girl (but I like my figure, of course).
Does that mean that female elves from the Realms are plump? Or there are many different types of figure? |

The heights and weights given in the PHB aren't gender specific. The shorter heights and lightest weights given for humans could be "typical" values for human females; the same might also apply to eladrin and elves (who are both described as essentially having the same build as slender humans). |
