Geez, and that's why I love CK for this kind of query. Great find, Markustay :)
I'm trying to gather more information to make a more informed judgment on them and what I might want to do with them in home games. I'm not sure that would translate into Realmslore work, but if the opportunity comes (and I feel I could do it justice), I might jump on it. |

Well, I would be interested in any take you have on them - they never really received the kind of attention the Elves did in FR, even though there is some (meta-setting) canon that points to them having inter-acted with the Fey long before the Elves came around.
We need some Dwarven Love. 
And I also tracked-down the name of the shorter, even more reclusive far-northern Kara-Tur Dwarves - the Ishikorobokuru living in the Koryat Mts.
Note the prefix 'Ishi' may just be a term in some eastern tongue meaning something like 'little'.
I spin them as an Eastern Gnomes, but that's just my personal take, and your mileage may vary. I happen to think all gnomes are a fey off-shoot of the dwarves (who I think were originally somehow connected to Elemental earth, but that's a tale for another day). |

The desert dwarves of Maztica were originally refugees from Ammarindar, and proved why one should never have a magic-heavy battle while traveling in tunnels beneath the sea. Though they've mostly lost their dwarf special abilities, since they don't build in stone and there isn't any metal to forge in Maztica, they're still more or less shield dwarves. |

There are a few sentences about Derro in the Underdark book for the Forgotten Realms, but nothing that gives a hint about theire origin.
In Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Monstrous manual they are under the Dwarf description. Quote " Derro are a degenerate race of dwarven stature."
In Dungeons and Dragons, Monster Manual. 3.0 " Derro are degenerate and evil human-dwarf crossbreeds who live in the underdark."
Is there any other sources that might provide more information about them ? Cant recall to ever had read about them in the novels.
There are also a few words about Deep Dwarves, " These dwarfs live far underground and tend to be more stand-offish with nondwarves. " They are also mentioned in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, The Complete book of dwarves along with Gully dwarves. But these I guess belong more to the Dragonlance setting. The Derro is not mentioned in the The complete book of dwarves.

There is a group in Maztica as well, but I have no sources available to me ATM. Supposedly 'normal' dwarves that came into conflict with some Drow, and both groups wound-up on the wrong side of a massive cave-in, forcing them to flee along a VERY long subterranean path to Maztica (a path the Tlincallis tried to later utilize and found they could not, and were themselves forced to perform a magic ritual in order to complete their migration).
I have no name for you for that group, but they started out stereotypical Dwarves and would now be considered Wild Dwarves. The only other thing can recall off the top of my head is that they live in something like 'the firey lands', or some-such. I think it is something akin to 'broken lands', desert-like with thermal/volcanic activity, but don't quote me on that.
There is a more gnome-like Korobukoro (Eastern dwarf) living in the far north of Kara-Tur (once again, sorry I can't provide a name right now). They are different-enough to have their own specific name.
There are Dwarves in Zakhara, but they do not have a separate designator. Most-likely just an Arabian version of a shield dwarf - there is no indication that they are nomadic, and their god is worshiped there as part of the Zakharan pantheon (under a slightly different name, IIRC).
