In that case, the malaugrym are pretty much by themselves (except for when Elminster fools everyone by imitating a table leg).

but they have a limited ability to shapeshift, Were-creatures change from person to animal and vice versa, dopplegagners are always humanoid, dragons change from humanoid to dragon, etc...
