and was reading the complete timeline and noticed that one on the end. Is this "canon" stuff or their own stuff?
Would this have anything to do with the retreat being over and the drow rising?
Are we in for some serious war?
Just putting it out there.... |

Salvatore's War of the Spider Queen Condemnation, I would say yes, Richard Baker is a skilled writer whose work is amongst the better Realms novels. He seems to possess a knack for writing novels that more or less follow game mechanics without completely ruining the novel.
As for the Year of Risen Elfkin, well in the FRCS and other sources it is frequently mentioned the Retreat is over, so I would gather that at some point in the furture the Elves will have a more signifcant place in Realmsian history. As to whether or not it begins in DR 1375, what do I look like Alaundo? |

However, I wonder if Richard Baker's upcoming trilogy, The Last Mythal, might have something to do with this year or set up events that are to take place within the Year or Risen Elfkin. If I recall, last I heard, the Daemonfey would be making an appearance in Baker's trilogy. |
