Okay . . .well, this is going to sound really stupid but has anyone ever given themselves an alignment in real life? Or for that matter given people they know an alignment?

For example:
I think I have a Chaotic Good alignment. My mother is Neutral Evil, and my best friend Sarah is True Neutral (which gets rather annoying sometimes, mind you). I have reasons for these alignments and I think they are quite fitting. Though I'd never tell my mother what I think her alignment is

That test doesn't work. I was still lawful neural or evil after I tried nearly every posible answer. But I know I m chaotic neural with evil tendensies

Hmm. The pentameter's a bit forced, and some of the words don't match up. But I'll put that up to it being written by a non-native speaker of English.

Sorry, just being my editor self again.
Jander Sunstar Posted - 17 Oct 2003 : 12:36:08
Thanks my friend, I used to write poems butI was not good enough to be a poet. So I gave up.
No need for rimes, it is quite good and better than mine.Mine is a propaganda flashy but meaningless
Daryen Posted - 17 Oct 2003 : 11:49:05
you wrote that?!? I`m impressed! I only think of psycho stuff:

in moonlit room children sleeping
window open door is closed
in crept shadows
dark as night

children lucky,
for death, merciful death
chose them to be free

now they will never know
know that greed
destruction
hate and war
is what they were destined to do!

IT DOESNT EVEN RIME!!!!
Jander Sunstar Posted - 17 Oct 2003 : 11:32:17
Lawful neutral bard can be interesting. You can sing anthems all the time and work as a propaganda minister of the nation.
God save the King!
Long live the most valiant!

Most holy and true sanctuary
our nation always will be
Kneel before the the laws of right
Hail to the throne of valor and might
To those oppose the will of justice
That echoes in the halls of piece
Redeem of your evil deeds
Obey the order that ever leads
We pledge our sword to almighty Tyr
For a reign of free from pain and fear
Guide us to the castle of rightous serenity
Help us to wield the swords against the guilty
HAIL,HAIL,HAIL
Daryen Posted - 17 Oct 2003 : 10:05:19
hmmm... Lawful Neutral Bard!? that was crazy. my singing sucks...
I was 52 on evil\good, 71 on chaotic\lawful, 52 on physica\mental and 53 earthly\spiritual... I wanted to be chaotic neutral mage!!!!
Blacksage Posted - 16 Oct 2003 : 23:35:17
Chaotic neutral.
Surely chaotic but stuggling to keep neutrality.
Sometimes evil, sometimes purely good.

I beleive all of us behave this way.
Good or evil, light and darkness.
The way it goes...on and on... :)
William of Waterdeep Posted - 16 Oct 2003 : 02:05:13
I promised to take this since the site was down last time I tried.
I printed it out and here we go.

Str:16
Dex: 13
Con: 16
Int: 11
Wis: 12
Cha: 11

ewh,I is a orc.
William of Waterdeep Posted - 16 Oct 2003 : 01:44:56
Cardinal.....I don't believe that on your Cha stat for one minute.Looks aren't all that make up Charisma. You are out going and I really enjoy your posts because I never know what to expect.

And you elven_songstress,I want a date. You must be Beautiful,Thats what Fall from Grace's Charisma was..She was the Lawful Good Succubus
Cleric on the Planescape Torment game.(I am joking about the date,I don't want to scare you off.)Runs to bathroom and brushes his Tusks.
Jander Sunstar Posted - 15 Oct 2003 : 22:33:50
Cardinal don't underestimate yourself you are more than enough to attract people. That is not a complimant I have no reason though but you have many friends talking in the inn and noone replies me when I say sth(unless I m drunk because I talk like an idiot)

Go and hunt some chicks don't waste your time on net!!!!
The Cardinal Posted - 15 Oct 2003 : 18:33:06
Ok, against better judgement I will reveal to others the flaw that is me or my RL stats as close as I can figure it,
STR: 7
Dex: 11
Con: 9
Int: 14
Wis: 16
Cha: 7

Now for an explanation, Yes I am weak, and somewhat frail.. too stubborn to give in to pain, but contant victem of the plague. So-so on the dex, Not as dumb as most would like to think ( actually kinda so-so to avgerage really), Reader of religious junk, philosophy, and some psychology ( not studying, I just read that stuff when the mood takes me or bored), main draw back has trouble holding temper... but I relish it.. My temper is what makes me stronger, Rage and Hate are valuable allies when one is at the bottom of the food chain in a redneck town such as this. Paranoia, fear, and lacking in good looks do draw me down... in the CHA area though... but this town is just a bunch of small weak minded fools!!! errr... right Nevermind that.. just the stats ...
Bookwyrm Posted - 15 Oct 2003 : 15:27:18
Yes, I'd say that's pretty impressive. That would make an excellent bard character . . . .
Jander Sunstar Posted - 15 Oct 2003 : 11:38:07
I must say I m impressed you must use your exeptional char and wis and pretty good int for the good of people. Who knows maybe one day you can be the president some where and change sth.
Good luck with your life but with these scores you won't need any
elven_songstress Posted - 15 Oct 2003 : 11:10:07
Okay so I am physically weak as anything.
7 Str
19 Dex (is this even right I work out and I do alot of sports I practice martial arts but still I never imagined myself anywhere near as good as Drizzt I can juggle yes, and I do card tricks I use to be a party magician but 19 seems really steep)
9 Con (Yeah thats about right...I spends lots of time sick, the idea of liveing in Icewindale is enough to give me the flu *lol*)
15 Intelligence
17 Wisdom (Hmmm maybe I should do something with that.)
20 Charisma (All in all I would play me as a character...lol, though I think the Charisma thing is a bit steep too...but then again I am a popular person where I am from , I think it should be put up there you move to a new town and would they respond the same I answered it like that and still wound up with a 18. -shrugs- I think it has bugs that need to be working out of it.)

The now going to bed elven songstress.

Good night and goddess bless.
elven_songstress Posted - 15 Oct 2003 : 10:58:18
Well just like I figured I took the ealier test and I am a CG bard, from that one sight, and a CG ranger of Mielieki from another.

So I am Drizzt the bard..-giggles and decides to go to sleep I will try the other test as well when the site comes back up out of curiosity alone...

William of Waterdeep Posted - 13 Oct 2003 : 21:59:04
Well,I was going to take the test again but site is down.I will check later. My Str.and Con. are high but Dex.really low,I can't remember the exact numbers so I will give them later when site isn't down.
I know I'm as strong as an ox and about half as graceful.
Bookwyrm Posted - 13 Oct 2003 : 03:13:57
So? I've got an official IQ of 153. However, I've taken three (count 'em, three) such tests. I've never gotten the same score twice. 153 is my official one because that was the test with the lowest margin for error; however, if you average the three scores out, I'm something like 144 (acounting for the separate margins of error).

So, basically, I pay only lip service to 'IQ' tests. It's sort of like SATs -- everyone uses them, but they're not as accurate as they want you to believe. Neither one has any real measurement of how you do outside of that test itself.

What a 'true' test of mental ability should do is make three scores. One for intelligence, one for decision making (wisdom), and one for knowledge retention. Leo Frankowski used that style in one of his books, and gave results on an X/Y/Z grid.

Personally, I considered myself to be about Int 16. Higher than average, but not Mensa quality. Plus I'm offset by absent mindedness, so I should have at the most a Wis score of 8. It should be even less, I think.

And William -- yes, I do jest. Frequently. But those were my scores.
Jander Sunstar Posted - 12 Oct 2003 : 22:16:12
con:15
str:9
dex:12
wis:8
int:14,15(ý don't think I deserve that but officially ý have 145 ýq)
char:13(ý suppose this is true and sufficient enough, ý cannot imagine one with 18 can menage)

I hadn't read this thread since my last post on page one, so I missed that little gem. My stats seem to be about:

Str: 8
Dex: 12
Con: 9
Int: 17? (I used the IQ bit, but those tests are stupid.)
Wis: 10 (I agree with this guy -- too high)
Cha: 11 (I think that's got to be off a bit.)

Str:8?,Con:9 you jest.
Bookwyrm Posted - 12 Oct 2003 : 06:50:09
Under the subracial rules, you're either one or the other. Subrace only counts if you're 'half' of another speicies.

Sorry.
The Cardinal Posted - 12 Oct 2003 : 06:27:17
Ok I know this is a bit off topic but I am curious to know if it is....possible for a full blooded elf to be half drow... inother words an elf that is half Drow and half ummm some other elf ( Moon, Sun, Wild, Wood..... Santa's )....
Personally I think A Half Drow half Avariel has GREAT potential... I shall have to conduct some.... experiments... but any others have any ideas or knowledge on such things?

Half-drow are usually killed at birth. If they're born in the Underdark, the drow usually kill them because of a desire to retain racial purity; after all, anything other than 'drow' is automatically inferior. On the surface, they're usually killed out of a fear that the child will be as evil as the father. (I say father because on the surface, they're usually the result of the rape of a human woman during a raid.)

Even when the drow parent is peaceful, such a pairing isn't as likely as a human and another elven subrace. First, such a drow would be rare. Second, most people wouldn't get pass the outer appearance. To the people of the surface, the face of a drow is like what seeing a person with red skin and horns would be to people of medieval Europe. Evil incarnate. And if they say they're 'good' . . . well, would you believe it on their say-so?

Then there's the biological standpoint. Most half-elves are the result of a male elf and a female human, since human females are more fertile than elves. Drow society tends more to females being the more populous. Most of the drow followers of Eilestree, the largest group of non-evil drow in the Realms, are also female.

Those're my thoughts on it . . . .

Did you ever play any of the FR pc games? The reason I ask is that you are using the pic of Viconia as your avatar, she is a female drow
cleric in Baldur's gate 1 & 2.She was very powerful with her spells.
I always carried her along although it caused some problems with our
alignments clashing.I know its just a game but I felt she was just misunderstood and her bark worse than her bite.

Yes I played Baulder's Gate 1 and NWN although it didn't run too good on my computer at the time. Cause of it I didn't actually get to finish NWN.
I like drow, intelligent, dark and mysterious, kinda like me.

Jander if half elves exists why not half drow?? Drows are infact a subrace of elves who have limited contact with the outside world.
