East of the Dragonsword Mountains before the Plains Of Purple Dust is a lake in the hills. Anybody know what it is called and any other details about monsters or settlements there?

Thanks Hoondatha.:)

Do you know anything about Veldorn besides what is written in the Shining South? The names of any of it's cities or rulers? Climate and terrain conditions.
Also is there anything cool at Azulduth The Lake of Salt?

My big FR map has that marked as "The Lonely Lake (oasis)." I haven't found anything about it yet, but I'm checking a few more sources and will get back to you.

edit: Aha! Found it. Old Empires, page 8. Here's the entire paragraph, the only bit about it in the entire book:

"There are two oases in the plains: the Grinning Skull, where a large pool of water is shielded by the skull of a dead great wyrm, and the Lonely Lake, which lies to the east of the Sword Mountains. The Grinning Skull is usually frequented by mongrelmen, while the Lonely Lake is held by a family of wizards descended from the great Mulhorand mage Nezram, who disappeared mysteriously centuries ago. The Nezramites, as they are called, are suspicious of strangers, especially adventuring companies; their only friends are the human nomads that live in the western section of the plains."
