Posted - 08 Sep 2009 : 14:25:38 Thanks Brian I was wondering where that particular map came from.. Ive seen it before. I have only one problem with, as I was reading the Lands of Intrigue I noticed that Steven Schend said that the forests of Shantel Othreier stretched from the base of the the plataeu of the High Moor, all the way to the shores of Lake Esmel......... and as Elminster stated.....the only thing that seperated Keltormir from Shantel Othreier, was the rivers and the shores of the lake Esmel...so it seems that giants and elves lived side by side with wemics too and the odd human sheep herder or two..... still its a cool map, is there are higher resolution version floating around, some of the place names are hard to read.....
cheers
@ Wenin......will do....its just an overlay to see what it would look like..... oh and you can always download and rotate them sorry, that way was what I did.....I'm just a techno-troglodyte.....give an axe & hammer for my keyboard anyday.......
edit...found it

I am such a bloke some times.......sigh! "sheepish grin".....
edit...but then again the map is over 10000 years old and humans are such terrible cartographers when it comes to mapping hearsay from elves...... |

Posted - 08 Sep 2009 : 04:45:15 Snowblood, I wish you'd rotated the images. =) I'd suggest using MS Paint instead of color pencils. I can send you a sample file of what I've been able to do with MS Paint. Kinda fun. PM me an email address.
Brian, Thanks for the link! I don't hunt through WoTC anymore, so I wasn't aware of that article. Thanks! |
