Posted - 06 Aug 2003 : 23:43:10 Im trying to locate the monster entry for the Foulwing. Ive looked in the Monster Manual (I & II), Fiend Folio and Monsters of Faerun but its not there. I cant remember where I saw it, can anyone point me to the right place?
I believe that they are used as winged mounts by the Zhentarim. What is the intelligence and attack methods of the Foulwings? Any other information would be greatfully received. |

Posted - 07 Aug 2003 : 12:56:05 Rad, I have been checking the 'Official Bestiary Listing' over at RPG Realms, however there site has been down all day. Normally they have a listing of every published D&D creature and monster that you can use to find the source of a particular monster/creature entry. I'll try again later.

Posted - 07 Aug 2003 : 06:02:49 Bearing in mind that these are 2e stats, the intelligence of the Foulwing is Low (5-7), and the attack method of Foulwings is as follows: they are more likely to fight in the air or failing that to pounce on their prey, which enables them use of their wing claw attacks and also utilise the weight of their wings and bodies - which has the effect of knocking down their prey - pinning them to the ground.
I'll check my copy of the officially published listing of 3e D&D monsters for a 3e source.
