Posted - 11 May 2009 : 17:47:16 I'm wondering if there has ever been a complete list of all the names of the War Lords who ruled Waterdeep during the "Age of War Lords (932DR-1032DR).
I did a quick search of the forums but turned up nothing.
So far I have:
Nimoar the Reaver (882DR To 936DR; died of old age) Gharl (936DR to 940DR; killed in battle?) Amphail the Just (940DR to 941DR; killed in battle) A succession of 5 more lords (941 to 952DR; all killed in battle) Laroun (974DR to 1026DR; killed in battle) Raurlor (1026DR to 1032DR; killed by Ahghairon)
Have the dates and names of the Lords between Amphail and Laroun ever been published?
Anyone? |

Posted - 11 May 2009 : 20:16:07 Gharl died in 943, and was succeeded by Amphail at that time. Amphail died a year later, fighting trolls. This is according to Krash's North timeline, which draws from (among other things) the old City of Splendors boxed set and The North boxed set (the latter of which is available for free from the Wizards downloads page).

Where is this information? I mean, where did you get your information? That might lead the way. And who wrote it? Because you could always ask them. I know Laroun appeared in Blackstaff Tower, but not much more that I remember about htese guys.
I got this from the 3E City of Splendors book, with some fine-tuning help from the Grand History of the Realms. |
