What do Zhents look like? I mean the people themselves. I've never read anything that ever described them as a people. Are they tall and fair, short and dark, or any and everything in between. |

If you look through the illustrations and character descriptions of powerful Zhents and Moonsea residents, there is a lot of flowing blonde/red hair, and BIG moustaches.
But certainly, like said in previous posts. I just like to envision every Moonsea-living male like Fzoul and whats-his-face and whosa-what. I'm not gonna go get my books to continue a ramble.

Read through the "Society in Zhentil Keep" section of the Ruins of Zhentil Keep boxed set. And take note of some of the images as well. It pretty much describes the people of the city and their way of life.

Yes, there should be no standard look to Zhents. Especially if one considers, that their network operations rely on being secretive in most parts of Faerun. So apart from not being a race, they generally do not even have clothing or other stuff in common except their Zhent badge/symbol. |

I'd say they're isn't a standard look for them, especially the humans. Depending on which race of human they are, they might have a few characteristics of appearance that are the same but there really isn't a answer to this. Not even demihumans of the same subrace look the same.
Take moon elves for example, they might have about five different shades of hair color but that doesn't mean some have lighter blue or darker blue hair if they have a shade of blue hair. |
