Or, you know, they could have actually had them related to the Dragonborn they already introduced into the Realms in Dragons of Faerun.
-I'm pretty sure that's what Delta is alluding to.
-Ding, ding, ding we have a winner. Plus I am Brimstone here Dagnirion.

Posted - 17 Dec 2008 : 02:57:08 A lot of people are going to moan at this...
But I introduced Draconians into my Forgotten Realms on a limited basis.
Tiamat's church, when finding good eggs, would transform them. It was a very limited number of them; nothing close to the numbers found in Dragon Armies or anything.
My party never actually ran into any that they recognized though. There was a whole group of Sivak that were spies in the campaign I was running, but the party had no clue. They did run into an Aurak too...but he was cloaked heavily and hooded...they actually thought he was wearing a magical dragon mask of all things. He almost wiped them out and they had to run away. They went back when they were regrouped and had hired a couple meat-shields to wear the red jersey; but the Aurak had moved on on his errands for Tiamat's church.
You can make Draconians work rather well I think out of the Fallen Eggs.
As for the original topic of this thread...I'm sorry I hijacked it. |

Posted - 16 Dec 2008 : 16:39:30 -The plotline was born in Dragons of Faerūn, which was one of the last 3e era sourcebooks, so, seemingly, a lot of possible plots that were introduced here got glossed over, with the advance of the timeline not too much later, in the 4e books. |
